Terms and Conditions of
Ordering / Price / Payment
1.1. If
you wish to place an order please contact Alindo Interiors on +44 (0)20 7482
7007 and we will initiate your order. All prices are quoted as retail in
pound sterling (£) and are inclusive of VAT
at 17.5%.
1.2. Whilst
we try and ensure that all prices on our website and in other communication
material are correct, if we discover an error in the price of your order, we
will inform you whilst you are placing your order or contact you as soon as
possible via phone or email.
1.3. Payment
can be made by any of the following methods Amex, Visa, MasterCard, Switch,
Solo, cheque or cash.
1.4 All
payments taken by phone or online are taken in a secure environment.
Availability / Delivery
2.1. All
orders are accepted subject to stock availability. We deliver/collect on
Mondays to Fridays between

2.4. All
items ordered that are not held in stock at the time of your order will be
placed on our pre-order list. A 50% deposit is required at point of sale. The
average delivery time from the time of a pre-order is 12 weeks.

the event that an item becomes unavailable after you have placed your order, or
we are unable to supply the items, a full refund will be offered to the amount
that has been paid.
2.7 In
the event that you choose to cancel your order at any time after placing a
pre-order and a 50% deposit, a 10% re-stocking fee will be charged.
2.8. We
accept international orders, although we quote delivery charges separately and
cannot be held responsible for any local import destination charges.
2.9. With
reference to added taxes and charges you may incur, please check your local
customs and excise office for more details.
2.10. It is your responsibility to measure both the access and final
resting space of your pieces of furniture. Should we deliver an item and find
it will not fit due to lack of measuring, we will be obliged to charge a
collection fee.
2.11. Our
drivers and staff will deliver through ground floor and basement level only. We
do not have equipment or insurance to winch items through windows.
2.12. Should
no one be present to receive the furniture at the pre-arranged time, a relevant
delivery fee will be charged,
(irrespective of your invoice) for re-delivery.
2.13. 48 hours notice is required for cancellation of a pre-arranged
delivery.
2.14. All items must be signed for at the point of delivery. In signing
the delivery note, you are acknowledging that the item(s) delivered are in good
condition and in no way faulty or damaged.
2.15. You are responsible for checking that all details and aspects of
your order are correct and suitable for your requirements, including
measurements, quantities, dimensions, product features, colours and textures.
2.16 We reserve the right to repair an item rather than replacing it.
Exchange / Returns / Warranty
3.1. We
make every effort to ensure that all items arrive to you in excellent condition.
Should an item arrive faulty to you, we will automatically offer either a
replacement or where not available a full refund.
3.2. If
for any other reason you are unhappy with the item(s) and there is no fault
with Alindo Interiors or our associates (suppliers) please contact us within 7
days of receiving the items. Providing we consider the item(s) still in a
completely saleable condition, we will issue a full refund of the purchase
price.
3.3.
If a credit card was used in the process of buying the items a refund will be
issued to the credit card that was used to place the order.
3.4. Your
order is covered by a 12 month warranty period from the time you receive your
items. Where appropriate, Alindo Interiors will repair the item free of charge
during this period, or will replace it if necessary. Please note that we will
not refund the initial delivery charges except if the item(s) are being
returned due to damage or a fault.
3.5. If you paid 50%
deposit for your furniture and the further balance upon confirmation of your
delivery, your refund may be in two separate installments.
Data Protection
4.1. To
comply with the Data Protection Act (1998) we are required to inform you that we
have recorded your name and address on our computer for the sole purpose of
processing your order. If you agree to Alindo Interiors keeping you up to date
with news and offers, we shall inform you of upcoming promotions.
4.2.
Your name and address will not be given or sold to third parties. Please let us
know if you object to us keeping this information, and we will delete it from
our database.
Right of Ownership
5.1.
All items remain the property of Alindo Interiors until full
and final payment is made. Upon full and final payment legal title of items
shall pass to the purchaser. Your statutory rights will not be affected.
5.2 We
reserve the right to refuse delivery to any individual or any company.
5.3 These
delivery estimations shall be in no form binding upon us and shall at no point
be a condition of any contractual obligation with you.
Accuracy
6.1. Please
note that due to the nature of handmade furniture, dimensions and shades may
vary from piece to piece. All sizes and measurements
are placed on our website and within our communication material. They are
approximate and all measurements are as accurate as possible.
6.2. On
the rare occasion that there is an inaccuracy that may affect your order, we
will inform you as soon as possible. Many of the designs are manufactured
exclusively for us and the copyright of all images and designs shown on the
website and in our communication material belong to Alindo Interiors.
Intellectual property and right to
use
7.1. You
acknowledge and agree that all copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual
property rights in all material or content supplied as part of our website and
communication material shall remain at all times vested in our licensors or us.
You are permitted to use this material only as expressly authorized by our
licensors or us.
7.2. You
acknowledge and agree that the material and content contained within the Alindo
Interiors website is made available for your personal non-commercial use only
and that you may (if necessary to make a purchase on the website) download such
material and content onto only one computer hard drive for such purpose.
7.3. Any
other use of the material and content of the Alindo Interiors website is
strictly prohibited. You agree not to (and agree not to assist or facilitate
any third party) copy, reproduce, transmit, publish, display, distribute,
commercially exploit or create derivative works of such material and content.
8.1. We have the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time
to time.
8.2. You will be subject to the policies and terms and conditions in force at
the time that you order products from us, unless any change to
those policies or these terms and conditions is required to be made by law or
governmental authority (in which case it will apply to orders previously placed
by you), or if we notify you of the change to those policies or these terms and
conditions before we send you the confirmation email (in which case we have the right to assume
that you have accepted the change to the terms and conditions, unless you
notify us to the contrary within seven working days of receipt by you of
the item(s)).
